1. Who we are

Foredge Technology ("Foredge", "we", "us") is a manufacturer of ICT basic network equipment — servers, switches, wireless and optical networking products — headquartered in Shenzhen, China, with branches and partners serving customers in more than 100 countries. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website.

2. What we collect

This website has no user accounts and does not ask you to register. The only personal data we collect is what you choose to type into an enquiry form (Contact, OEM / ODM, or Partner Programme):

• Name (first and last name)
• Email address and, optionally, phone number
• Company, country and job title (optional fields)
• The content of your message, including any personal data you include in it

3. How your submission is processed today

Transparency note: this website is in a pre-launch phase. Form submissions are not yet transmitted to Foredge servers or to any third-party CRM — they stay in your own browser's local storage until you clear it. The remainder of this policy describes how we will handle enquiry data once the CRM integration goes live.

4. Why we use your data and on what basis

We use enquiry data for one purpose: to respond to you. Concretely, to answer your question, route your request to the nearest Foredge office or distribution partner, prepare a quotation, and follow up on the business relationship you initiated.

For business enquiries the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to potential customers (and, where the GDPR or similar laws apply, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract). We process your data for these purposes only after you tick the consent box on the form, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

5. Cookies and local storage

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and loads no third-party analytics or ad scripts. We use two small exceptions, both confined to your own device:

• The product comparison tool remembers your selection in your browser's local storage so the list survives a page refresh.
• During the pre-launch phase, demo form submissions are mirrored to local storage as described in section 3.

6. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell or rent personal data. Enquiry data is shared only with the Foredge branch or authorised partner best placed to answer you, and with service providers that host our forms and CRM under contract. Because Foredge and its partners operate worldwide, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own; where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention and security

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and for the period required by tax, trade-compliance and commercial-record laws, then delete or anonymise it. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including transport encryption and access limited to staff who need it.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any right, email garyfeng@foredgetech.com; we will verify your request and respond within the statutory period.

9. Children

This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site and our processing evolve; the revision date below always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
