Challenge

A multi-building park needed 1000+ terminal access management spanning production, warehousing and office/R&D scenarios.

Solution

Built an all-optical core-aggregation-access architecture on S6700-series 100G cores with stack backup, S5700-series aggregation and gigabit PoE access.

Added all-wireless office with seamless roaming and Apollo cloud management with open APIs for third-party systems.

Results

• A three-layer, all-optical park fabric serving production, warehouse and office zones on one network.
• Automatic network-quality measurement and optimization through Apollo cloud analytics.
