Case Study
Bangkok Police Comprehensive Command Center
Redundant VXLAN-M-LAG fabric feeding an AI analytics server.
- Industry
- Public safety
- Region
- Bangkok, Thailand
- Deployment scale
- Dual ISP redundant internet edge
- Products used
- S6700-24TF-2QF, S6700-24GX-4TF-2QF
Challenge
A mission-critical command center running real-time video analytics, facial recognition and intelligent traffic management needed zero-downtime networking and a low-latency path from every camera to the AI server.
Solution
Built a collapsed-core fabric with dual ISP uplinks and S6700 cores in VXLAN-M-LAG for active-active forwarding and sub-second convergence.
Connected the AI server over dual 10/25GbE links straight into the core, and stacked S6700 access units with redundant paths throughout.
Segmented video, voice and operational data into separate VLANs with centralized cloud monitoring.
Results
- A fully redundant fabric with no single point of failure between endpoints and the AI analytics platform.
- High-bandwidth, low-latency camera-to-AI paths supporting real-time threat detection and traffic management.
