With the emergence of WIFI6 and 2.5G network port chips, 2.5G switches are increasingly favored by the market. The 2.5G switch released by Fengrun Da is the world’s first 2.5G switch to support the SONIC version, and also the first high-speed switch to support 100G uplink. It is at the forefront of the industry in both software and hardware specifications.

There are a total of four models of 2.5G switches released this time: 24 port 2.5G switches, including PoE and non PoE models, and 48 port 2.5G switches, including PoE and non PoE models. All models adopt 1+1 pluggable redundant power supply, 4 pluggable intelligent speed regulating fans, and provide 4 10G optical ports and 2 40/100G adaptive optical ports for uplink, achieving non blocking forwarding. The PoE switch series supports 90W BT standard power supply across all ports, including 48 port 2.5G PoE switches, with a single power PoE power of over 1200W.

The 2.5G model released this time can provide both white box switches that support SONIC and complete machines pre installed with Fengrunda’s self-developed network operating system. The built-in operating system supports APOLLO cloud management, and customers can choose according to their actual needs.

This press conference also introduced the new features of Fengrun Da’s APOLLO cloud platform and switches for operators.

Fengrunda APOLLO cloud platform is a comprehensive cloud management platform that can manage various network devices and terminals. This press conference mainly introduced the management functions related to the newly added switches on the platform, which mainly include two modules: monitoring and configuration. The monitoring module mainly adds two very practical functions: port traffic statistics and cable detection. Without the need to log in to the switch, the traffic of the switch’s ports can be viewed in the cloud, and the performance status of the switch can be intuitively understood through visual traffic curves. In the configuration module, VLAN, static routing, and ACL、 Multiple cloud configurations such as port aggregation, port speed limiting, port protection, and storm control greatly simplify the configuration of switches.
